Treecycle is a new branch of We Care Tree Care.  Our goal is to recycle fallen trees or trees that have been removed for hazardous reasons. We mill it into usable wood (slabs and dimensional lumber etc) providing an alternative to deforestation.

In addition to reusing as much lumber as we can, we use eco-friendly tools, such as electric chainsaws and biodegradable lubricants that are better for the environment.

In the past year, we have partnered with EllisDon and GWL Realty Advisors for a community initiative involving the donation of recycled woods.

Grenadier Square Redevelopment Project

We partnered with construction company EllisDon and realty advisors Great West Life Realty Advisors for a project that consisted of repurposing wood to different community initiatives. The wood was processed and some made into benches, all to be donated to various educational institutions, different community gardens, and more.
